Late/Non-Delivery

Where a property is showing no signs of being completed by the contract delivery date, your completion date has passed or even that the property is non-existent, then this is likely to lead to loss of income from potential rental yields.

Late and non-delivery is a common problem with properties abroad purchased off-plan and can occur for many different reasons, for example: the developer may simply be unable to keep up with demand, or indeed the delay could be more serious.

If a property is delayed, the developer should inform a claimant that the completion date will not be adhered to. If a claimant has not been informed of the delay, or suspects that the property may never be completed, then our property investment recovery experts can assess the situation to see if there is a case for legal proceedings.
