No Bank Guarantee

A bank guarantee provides vital protection against the developer going bust where property is purchased off-plan.

It assures that if the developer does not complete the property an investor would receive compensation on any capital invested, plus any interest accrued.

Property investors in the UK and likewise overseas, are legally entitled to have a bank guarantee or similar insurance policy when purchasing off-plan; however in some areas this is routinely refused by developers.
